If you are into deep, dark and scary, we can now offer Wreck, Deep & Night diving. For the Techies & Rebreather divers out there, we can drop you on a wall or wreck and let you complete a long run time.

Our ten-day Instructor Development Course is the heart of the PADI Instructor Training Program.

NEXT IDC STARTS 19 MAY 2008

This program consists of two parts, the Assistant Instructor course (AI) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor program (OWSI). Combining the AI course and the OWSI program into a continuous program makes up the IDC. By completing both sections of the program, you are then qualified to attend the Instructor Evaluation and earn the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor qualification.

Tech Dive Academy's main instructors are Adam and Chrissy Pantlin.

Adam is Tech Dive Academy's head instructor, as well as co-owner. Having been tutored by some of the finest diving professionals in Australia, Adam sets his standards high and is constantly looking to improve his skills.

Adam is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Extended Range trained and loves wreck and exploratory diving. He enjoys sharing his love of diving with others.

Chrissy is the other owner of Tech Dive Academy and is about to qualify as an instructor, after being afraid of water for years! It was after many weekends spent sitting in the car while Adam went diving, that she finally gave in and did a Discover Scuba dive.

Two years on, Chrissy is passionate about diving and in particular, underwater photography. She loves seeing student divers successfully complete their courses and go on to be regular divers.
