Entry Requirement Minimum Open Water Certification for all Scuba programmes, please see the individual courses for entry requirementsMinimum Age Please note in Australia the minimum age to dive in Australia in 12.
Health & Fitness Customers are required to complete a standard medical declaration form for all courses above Open Water. Your instructor will discuss your health and fitness with you for the planned training. We work with disabled divers, and divers with special needs, our focus is on skill development and mastery. Tech Dive Academy is the only PADI five-star IDC centre based in Port Douglas, in the far north of Queensland. We offer First Class Diver Training on the Great Barrier – PADI recreational dive Instruction and IANTD, DSAT and Tec Rec Technical Dive programmes with a difference – Open Water to instructor level, Speciality courses, Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Essentials Programme, and a range of sidemount and cavern courses.
At the Tech Dive Academy we believe that diving experience is critical to safety and maintaining skill levels. One thing is certain, whatever course you choose you will have fun, be a better diver and leave Port Douglas with skills you might have previously thought impossible.
